Welcome!
Our Mission is to foster support, communication and community between teachers, parents and the local community, and provide positive opportunities for learning and growth for our children.
Our priority is to use all available resources to enrich the lives of our children. We accomplish this through enhancing the learning environment at our school.
Fairmount PTA raises funds to directly benefit our school and enhance our children's education. We help fund field trips. We also fund the purchase of laptops, Ducane (overhead) projectors, Smartboards and multimedia speakers for our classrooms.
- PTA Meetings are held in the teachers' lounge on the second Tuesday of the month from 7-8. Babysitting is provided.
- Please join us at a meeting. They are informative, fun and they help determine where our funds are spent.

PTA Reflections
In its more than 40-year history, the Reflections program has encouraged millions of students across the nation and in American schools overseas to explore their artistic talents. The program offers students the opportunity to create works of art for fun and recognition.
Congratulations are in order for the following Fairmount students. Their projects for Diversity Means have moved on to the district level. Let's wish them the best of luck.
